Book Cover Design

A classic novel and a contemporary novel were randomly assigned to each student for a cover redesign. The Spanish Classic, Don Quixote, tells the story of an old man who wants to be a knight through the use of an all-knowing narrator. To depict this, old Spanish rugs and books were looked at for inspiration for the classy gold filigree. Neuromancer, is about a cyberpunk dystopian society so the cover used my own photography that was edited to match the futuristic setting. Details on the back and spine of both covers were important in creating a more realistic book feel.
